We believe that standard boarding should never mean sitting in a kennel all day. We strive to maximize freedom and minimize crate time: No All-Day Confinement: Your pup will never be left alone in a run while the day passes by. Structured Rest: Dogs are only in their spacious kennels for a necessary mid-day nap (to recharge their batteries) and a cozy, peaceful bedtime. All-Day Enrichment: Beyond naptime, your pup's day is completely filled with structured pack play, human interaction, and engaging activities. We judge our pack members on behavior, not breed, and comfortably accommodate friendly, fixed, dogs 90lbs or less. Whether you need a few hours of daycare or an extended boarding stay, we treat your pup like family! What started as a passionate "side hustle" quickly grew into the premier pet care solution for Santa Fe Springs. In January 2021, after purchasing our home, we started pet sitting on Rover. We received our first booking almost immediately. One five-star review later, and it was nonstop bookings. As we connected with more local pet parents, we noticed a heartbreaking pattern: so many clients complained about corporate facilities that left their beloved pups kenneled all day long. We knew we could do better. Driven by the immense satisfaction of providing a genuinely loving "home away from home," we set out to redefine what pet care looks like in our community. Today, Zoomies has evolved from those humble beginnings into the very first official dog daycare and boarding facility in Santa Fe Springs. Our core mission remains exactly the same as day one: giving fur parents ultimate peace of mind, limiting kennel time, and creating a space where dogs can truly be dogs.
