Discover Zen Animals, New York’s first Holistic Pet Spa, where every detail is designed to provide well-being and beauty for your pet. We offer grooming for dogs and cats, as well as boarding and daycare services. What makes us unique is that all of our bathing products and spa treatments are crafted in-house with 100% plant-based and fully organic ingredients. This ensures a natural and safe experience, especially for puppies with sensitive skin. Our grooming space is spacious, sunlit, and filled with positive energy. Instead of cages, we provide play areas or individual play pens so pets can relax between each stage of care. The grooming process is divided into three carefully planned stages: • Stage 1: full bath, gland expression, application of spa treatments, and drying. • Stage 2: nail clipping and filing, ear cleaning, sanitary trim, paw trimming, and final drying. • Stage 3: haircut and finishing touches on the groomer’s table. Between each stage, your pet enjoys breaks for play and rest, reducing stress and making the experience much more enjoyable. For this reason, grooming can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. Our professionals assess each pet’s energy on the day and adjust breaks according to their individual needs. To finish on a special note, at pick-up time you can choose one of our four essential oil fragrances, applied as a complimentary touch with every grooming session. Zen Animals owner Gabriella has owned and operated three facilities offering Pet Grooming Spas, Doggy Daycare and Boarding since 2014. Zen Animals is meeting a much needed opening for Holistic driven Dog and Cat Grooming and Care in the Industry.
