Unique Walks and Sitting offers loving, trustworthy care for big and small dogs that need to go out! *Behavior modification included in cost of walks/petsitting services. *Personalized attention: No dog too energetic or creaky. 1. We go above and beyond, lavishing loads of affection on our (your!) dogs, offering extra-long walks when we can, and paying close attention when our dog-friends are ill. 2. A lot of dogs experience initial anxiety when they meet new sitters or new dog-mates. We take the time required to train our small crew appropriately, and have had a 99% success rate acclimating new dogs to our neighborhood of dogs. 3. Some of us are skilled cyclists with extensive experience biking with dogs, and can offer bike rides in Prospect Park to owners with ultra-energetic dogs that need a good run. 4. We are always happy to advise owners on suitable gear and training techniques for dealing with pulling, housetraining issues, aggression, and leash reactivity (think: skateboards!) 5. We generally walk dogs in pairs or trios, and never walk more than 4 dogs at a time, assuring that each dog gets just enough company from their species and more than enough personalized attention from their human walking companions, every day. We function as a semi-collective, with each professional sitter making equal pay. Today the coordination is centralized: Rebecca assures that a crew of steady, trustworthy petsitters is now at your service in Prospect Heights and its adjacent neighborhoods (Park Slope, Clinton Hill and Crown Heights). Each of us has a stake in our work, and this contributes to our sense of responsibility for the dogs they care for.
