From private dog training and group classes, to advocacy driven pet care initiatives, People's Dog Training® & Love At First Sit®, has been Santa Monica’s premier multi certified dog behavior and training and pet services company since 2011. Voted the City of Santa Monica’s 2026 Most Loved Pet Training & Independent Business, and a #1 Most Loved Pet Service winner 6 years running, we offer a complete range of dog behavior and training programs for puppies and adult dogs at every stage of learning, from foundational obedience, manners, and enrichment to behavior modification addressing fear, anxiety, stress, and aggression, and American Kennel Club Family Dog Program, and advocacy driven care though our charitable efforts. With over 5,000 animal shelter volunteer hours, we also provide transition training for recently adopted shelter and rescue dogs. Dedicated to animal welfare, our Love At First Sit® Initiative, we give back to the community by volunteering at shelters, partnering with nonprofits, supporting local programs through charitable contributions, and Free Virtual Office Hours, $5 Community Dog Training Classes, and Advocacy Driven Care.
