Melissa's Mutt Hutt & Cat Shack provides PRIVATE one-on-one dog walking & pet sitting in your home, kennel free boarding and daycare (for small to medium sized dogs only) and daily kitty visits. We have offices in Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica to serve the broader Southbay. Unlike Rover or Wag who sends untrained strangers into your home to take care of your pets, MMH takes pride in their staff of over 36 licensed, bonded, trained professionals! We specialize in puppies, timid or unruly personalities (ie. dogs that cannot go on a group walk) and seniors. Licensed, Insured and Bonded, we have never had a single claim on our insurance in 14 years. We've safely and lovingly cared for over 55,000 animals without incident. You can trust that we will treat your dog or cat like a child with personalized one-on-one attention. This means daily photos and videos texted or e-mailed while you are away. Owned and operated by Los Angeles native Melissa Sheehan Clarkson since 2004, my love for animals helped me to develop a service that I would use for my own pets. Our services are tailored around you, and your pets needs. We offer drama free, guaranteed pet care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We proudly only offer private walks, and don't walk 4-8 dog pack walks on the Strand or dog parks. Our services are guaranteed, come with a time stamp and a daily diary of notes.
