HouseBroken, Inc. was created after its owners were unable to get a dog walker to cross Flatbush Avenue into Prospect Heights to walk their three dogs. After the dot-com boom burst, the owners began walking dogs and quickly realized the need for a professional pet care service in the area that could accommodate the special requests and scheduling needs solo dog walkers could not fulfill.
