GoDoG is a Dog Walking and Sitting Service serving the greater Park Slope area and all of it's adjacent neighborhoods. We place a strong emphasis on building enduring relationships with our clients and their pups based on trust, reliability, open and timely communication, devotion and last but not least, entertainment. We see our selves first and foremost as caretakers, yet in addition we place great value on the fostering of companionship, and on celebrating the rather amusing bond we humans share with dogs.The relationship between our pups and us is droll, fascinating, enchanting and quite frankly, sacred. We are fiercely loving, dedicated, thorough, sensitive and engaged. We pride ourselves on taking on all clients with extemporaneous scheduling needs, as well as any dog with health issues or behavioral challenges. Feel free to reach out anytime. We look forward to hearing from you ! GoDoG was established in the spring of 2008 by ME ! Jason Durishin. I had been working in the hospitality industry wearing every hat in the front of the house, from fine dining to nightclubs, while pursuing acting and singing. While still engaged in these artistic vocations I had had enough of the food and beverage industry and inspired by the enormous love for my then two year old Carlin Pinscher, Dirk "Doggler" :-), and a fire to work for myself, I decided I would build a dog walking business. I never intended on growing it past what I could handle on my own but after four months I found myself hiring my first employee. We are now a crew of six, and I have come to know, teach, learn from and love nearly a couple hundred dogs since GoDoG's inception. I've had countless powerful experiences involved in rescue, dog care and handling; tragic, comic, mundane, invariably soulful.
