Dog SF specializes in off-leash playgroups and home-style dog boarding. With years of experience and continuing education, we are proud to be a positive force in San Francisco's dog community. We are licensed with the city of San Francisco and are fully insured & bonded. We are longtime members of Pet Sitters International and are certified graduates of dogTEC's Dog Walking Academy instructed by esteemed SF/SPCA dog trainers. We pride ourselves on being highly attentive and interactive. There is always a ball in play, a wrestling match being refereed, and a belly being scratched. With Dog SF you'll know exactly who will be taking your dog to the park for a fun filled outing every time: An experienced, certified, dog professional (Rick) and an experienced, certified, professional dog (Nico). Being owner-operated, we boast a perfect attendance record and a 0% employee turnover rate. Dog SF was founded in 2005 by Rick and his best four-legged friend, Nico. One day they decided to make the favorite part of their day into the only part of their day — park hopping in the great outdoors of beautiful San Francisco. Since they were having so much fun together, they thought, ‘Hey, why don't we make some new friends along the way and invite them to the park with us?’ And just like that, Dog SF was born.
