Growing up Rachel had the 'animal gene.' Starting at a young age, she brought many animals home to nurture and care for them. Many of them became members of her family! After graduating from Pratt with a degree in motion graphics, Rachel took up dog walking as a 'side gig' while doing contract work. Mostly to keep her connected to the animals she loved. Soon, word spread about the amazing service. She knew she had something special, decided to hire her first employee, trained them to her standards and Brooklyn Bark was born! To this day, Rachel remains committed to; hiring people who have that same special connection with animals that she does, training to the highest standards, building amazing relationships with our clients and their pets, and giving back to the community!
