We started this business to offer our community of dog-loving humans a better option than what we saw out there. Most dog daycares have a warehouse vibe, don’t limit the number of dogs, don’t require well-trained staff, don’t have high staff-to-dog ratios, and don’t have strategic daily activity schedules that include indoor and outdoor activities. We built something different because we love dogs and want what’s best for THEM. We love dogs’ odd quirks and goofiness, their exuberance and shenanigans, their precious faces and kisses. We absolutely love dogs. All of them. In fact, we believe every dog is unique. And we believe every dog should be cared for and supported by well-trained copious staff in its own way, whatever it needs. Extra cuddles? Yup. Extra exercise? Absolutely. Socialization? Always. Stressed out dog who needs to take it slowly? We got you. Trained Staff? You bet. A day-long careful schedule of indoor and outdoor activities? Wouldn’t have it any other way. Our trained and supportive staff and our investment in them and care for them make the difference. Our diverse, hard-working team loves your dog already and knows how to best support their growth. Welcome to the Bark Avenue family. Bark avenue was opened in with the dogs best interest at heart. Since 2012 pawrent's like your self have entrusted their dogs to us and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve the SF Mission Bay community. We are a small, limited capacity, local business. We take great pride in the love and care we provide the animals in our care using only positive reinforcement methods. From the Dog Biz Professional Dog Walker certification, to the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations course the managers have completed, and high human to dog ratio we maintain, your pup is in good hands. All staff are current and up to date with their pet first aid and CPR too - because we're serious about taking incredible care of your pups.
