Adventure Dog LA Walking, Training & Hiking specializes in bridging the gap between Dog Training, Dog Walking and Doggy Day Care. I view the Dog Walk as a tool for Dog Training. Using the Dog Walk as training time, I can help eliminate leash pulling, stop aggressiveness towards other dogs, and give your best friend the structured exercise they need to help remove any behavioral issues. Adventure Dog LA Doggy Day Care is the only day care in Los Angeles that spends the entire day in nature. Instead of just a 1-2 hour hike, we spend 6-8 hours in beautiful nature spots around Los Angeles. We dont have a fenced facility and we dont want one. We use nature as our un-fenced facility. We go to Canyons, Beaches, National Forests, Waterfalls . . . If your dog wants to go there, we will be there. Although this IS mostly "Heaven on Earth" for your babies, we use this 6-8 hours as an opportunity for any training our clients desire. I started this company because I am a dog lover. Have been all my life, will be all my life. Back in Oregon, I grew up on a farm where my dogs could run and play all day, with and without me. I never had to worry about taking them to a kennel when I was away, or letting them out for a 10 minute walk during work. They lived in the outdoors and they loved it. Fast forward to now, 15 years later, in Los Angeles. I soon realized I could no longer leave my dogs at home without me and expect them to have a happy life. The second I came home from work I saw it on their face. Holding it for 10 hours, bored out of their mind, groggy from sleeping all day. That was the defining moment for me. I told myself, right then and there, that I would not force my dogs into a daily existence of unhappiness. My mission is to provide the highest standard of living for all Dogs in Greater Los Angeles.
